Azerbaijani Para boccia athletes have successfully performed at the international tournament among Turkic-speaking countries held in Aktau, Kazakhstan.
"Report" informs that our representatives, having defeated their Kazakh and Kyrgyz rivals in the individual competition, won 5 gold and 1 silver medals.
Sona Aghayeva (BC2), Gunel Rzazade (BC4), Nariman Pirguliyev (BC1), Orkhan Karimov (BC2), and Zaur Veysalov (BC4) climbed to the highest step of the podium.
Bahruz Mirzayev (BC4) settled for a silver medal.
It should be noted that our boccia players will compete tomorrow in the team competition with the national teams of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
