Azerbaijan's national youth diving team won 3 gold medals at the "12th Sofia Cup" held in Bulgaria.
The Swimming Federation told "Report" about this.
Amine Hasanbeyova, Ayla Huseynova, Magsud Tahirli, Mehri Agayeva and Muhammad Huseynov represented our country in the competition. They were accompanied by head coach Anton Melnikov.
All three gold medals in the team were scored by Magsud Tahirli. He surpassed all his rivals in jumps from 1 and 3 meter springboards, as well as from a 5 meter platform.
It should be noted that representatives of Bulgaria, Germany, Lithuania, Hungary, Norway, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey and Greece, along with Azerbaijan, took part in the competition, in which more than 160 athletes competed.
