Our fencing team will compete with a full squad at the CIS Games, which will be held in eight cities of Azerbaijan from September 28 to October 8.
According to the information provided to Idman.biz by Chingiz Mustafayev, the head coach of our "Musketeers", the team will include 32 athletes.
"This competition is a great opportunity for us to test our reserves, and we took advantage of it. The team consists of athletes born in 2006 and younger. This is the future of Azerbaijani fencing. Taking advantage of the host status, we wanted to give young people a chance and allocated a large squad. Both boys and girls will have 8 fencers and 8 epeeists. We hope that we will not leave our country without a gold medal," - said the head coach.
