The order of passage of the Azerbaijani delegation during the parade at the official opening ceremony of the 25th Winter Olympic Games in Italy has been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that our team will pass 11th among 92 countries in front of the audience.
Our flag will be carried by alpine skier Anastasia Papatoma and figure skater Vladimir Litvintsev.
During the parade, national teams will pass through the stadium in a specific order. According to tradition, the parade will start with Greece, and the hosts will enter the arena at the end of the ceremony.
The event, which will be held at the "San Siro" stadium, will start at 23:26 Baku time. With this, the Games will be officially declared open.
Our representative Vladimir Litvintsev will start the competition with a short program in figure skating in Milan on February 10. Anastasia Papatoma will test her strength in giant slalom on the 15th of the month, and in slalom 3 days later. The competitions will be held in Cortina d'Ampezzo, a famous ski resort in Italy.
It should be noted that the 25th Winter Olympic Games will be held from February 6 to 26, and the Paralympic Games will be held from March 6 to 15.
