Azerbaijani athletes won a record number of medals in 2025

In 2025, our athletes won 613 gold, 616 silver, and 884 bronze medals, a total of 2113 medals, in world and continental championships, cups, Grand Prix, and other prestigious international competitions in various sports.

Idman.Biz reports that the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan has released this information.

It was reported that 1443 medals were won in Olympic sports, 589 in non-Olympic sports, and 81 in Paralympic, Deaflympic, and Special Olympic competitions. This is another record indicator in the history of Azerbaijani sports.
