Azerbaijan Swimming Federation (ASF) has started cooperation with Oksana Pismenna, a former member of the Ukrainian national artistic swimming team, Honored Master of Sports and coach.
This was reported to "Report" from the ASF press service.
The goal is to develop artistic swimming in the country, form a national team over time, and successfully participate in international competitions.
Prior to this, O. Pismenna worked with the national teams of Ukraine, Turkey, France, Switzerland, South Korea and Egypt. Her trainees, in addition to moving from junior national teams to the main team, have repeatedly become European and world champions, as well as Olympic medalists.
In a statement to the ASF press service, the specialist emphasized the importance of transferring knowledge to other generations:
"It is very important that valuable knowledge is passed down from generation to generation. The most important quality of a coach is sharing his knowledge and experience with athletes and new coaches. Only then will our sport develop and become interesting for athletes who want to practice it. I want us to achieve great success together."
