Azerbaijan archery team's head coach believes in athletes' success at European Championship

Natiq Fazilov, the head coach of the Azerbaijan archery team, believes that the athletes will perform successfully at the European Championship to be held in Bulgaria.

The specialist said this in an interview with "Report".

He expressed his preparation process and expectations with these words:

"Before the European Championship, we held a training camp at the Shaki Olympic Sports Complex. We tried to eliminate the shortcomings as much as we could. I believe that our athletes will perform well at the European Championship to be held in Bulgaria. Our main medal hopes are the women's team and Mahammadali Aliyev from the men's team. In the individual competition, we expect successful results from Yaylagul Ramazanova, Fatima Huseynli and Lala Abdurrahmanova. The athletes feel this responsibility".

N.Fazilov also highly appreciated the results of the national competitions held in January:

"The Azerbaijan Championship and Primary Championship were held on January 12-17. The children showed high results there. Fatima Huseynli and Lala Abdurrahmanova fulfilled the master of sports standard, and Aliya Aliyeva and Sardar Veliyev fulfilled the candidate for master of sports standard. I believe that they will show these results at the European Championship and take high places".

It should be noted that the European Championship will be held indoors in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, between February 16-21.
