The "ASF Ganja Cup 2025" swimming tournament will be held in the Ganja Sports Palace on September 13-14 with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Baku City Circuit Operations Company, and organized by the Azerbaijan Swimming Federation.
Idman.biz reports that more than 200 swimmers representing various clubs will compete in the competition.
Transportation (Baku-Ganja-Baku), hotel and food expenses will be covered for athletes representing any club and with a WA score (formerly FINA) of more than 300. Athletes who do not meet the specified criteria can also participate in the tournament based on their wishes, but only transportation will be organized for them.
It should be noted that Ganja will host swimming and a number of other sports during the III CIS Games. The opening and closing ceremonies of the prestigious competitions will take place on September 28 and October 8, respectively, at the Ganja City Stadium. Swimming competitions will be held between September 27 and October 2 at the Ganja Sports Palace.
