Swedish two-time Olympic champion Armand Duplantis has set a new world record in pole vaulting for the 14th time.
Idman.biz reports that he achieved a result of 6 meters 30 centimeters at the 2025 World Championships held in Tokyo, the capital of Japan.
Duplantis reached the record height on his third attempt. It should be noted that he secured his victory at the World Championships by jumping 6.15 meters.
Armand Duplantis had broken the previous world record in August 2025 — 6.29 meters.
In total, Duplantis has improved his record performance by 13 cm since 2020.
