Four-time Olympic champion, Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus has ended her career at the age of 25.
"Report" reports that she announced this on her personal social media accounts.
The athlete had previously announced that she underwent surgery in September 2023 to remove a tumor in her ovary. She took a break from her career after the Summer Olympics in Paris in 2024.
It should be noted that A.Titmus has 8 Olympic medals (4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze). She has won the title of world champion 4 times. She also holds the world record in the 200 meter freestyle.
