The Azerbaijan Archery Championship was organized at a high level.

"Report" informs that the president of the Azerbaijan Archery Federation, Anar Guliyev, said this in a statement to journalists after the competition.

He emphasized that special attention is paid to sports in Azerbaijan:

"The tournament was a real holiday for those who love this sport. Special attention is paid to sports in Azerbaijan. We have been trying to organize archery competitions differently and more qualitatively for several years. My impressions are very good. The tournament was organized at a high level. Gender balance has almost been ensured. But I must admit that the number of female participants is higher. Especially athletes under the age of 15 participate more and actively."

The head of the organization said that it is planned to hold these competitions in the regions in the future:

"The competitions have always been held in the capital until today. The tournament is held twice a year, indoors in winter and outdoors in summer. We plan to hold the competition in the regions in the near future. Other types of tournaments and cup games may be created soon. The championship should cover the entire country."

It should be noted that more than 60 professional athletes representing different regions of the country competed for the championship in the competition.
