Azerbaijani athlete Amir Ismayilov set a national record at the XVIII European Youth Summer Olympic Festival held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
According to "Report", citing the press service of the National Olympic Committee, the young athlete achieved a result of 14.44 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles race.
This result became a new national record in the U-18 age category. A. Ismayilov will also compete in the long jump event in the upcoming competition days.
It should be noted that the athletics competitions are held at the Todor Proeski National Arena in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
