The International University Sports Federation (FISU) has officially announced the host city for the 2027 Universiade.
Idman.biz reports that the prestigious multi-sport forum will take place in Chungcheong Province, South Korea.
The competitions will be held from August 1-12, 2027. This will be the third time in its history that South Korea hosts the Universiade. It is worth noting that these games were organized in Daegu in 2003 and in Gwangju in 2015.
The organizers have already presented the program for the student games. The program includes 18 sports: artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, archery, rowing, judo, athletics, badminton, basketball, diving, fencing, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, volleyball, water polo, beach volleyball, and golf.
