The pairings for the Round of 16 of the Men's Ice Hockey Tournament at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy have been determined.
Idman.Biz reports that the following teams will face each other in the next round:
Switzerland - Italy
Germany - France
Sweden - Latvia
Czech Republic - Denmark
The Men's Ice Hockey Tournament will continue until February 22nd. For the first time in 12 years, NHL players are also participating in the competition.
The reigning Olympic champion of the tournament is Finland. The Scandinavian representative defeated the Russian team 2:1 in the 2022 final.
