1846 Athletes from 8 Countries Will Participate in the III CIS Games, Approximately 5500 Participants Expected in Total

The participation of 1846 athletes from 8 countries in the III CIS Games to be held in Azerbaijan has been confirmed.

The Baku City Circuit Operations Company informed "Report" about this.

According to the information as of today, 1846 athletes and 2666 representatives from 8 countries representing the CIS space (Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan) will participate.

The competitions will be held in 12 venues in 23 sports.

In the first stage, only delegations from CIS countries are registered. In the second stage, registration is conducted for delegations from countries that are not members of the CIS but participate in the competition on a special invitation basis. In total, about 5,500 participants from 23 countries of the world are expected to attend the Games.

It should be noted that the III CIS Games will be held on September 28 – October 8, 2025 in seven cities of Azerbaijan – Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Shaki, Goygol and Khankendi. In general, the participation of athletes and official representatives of CIS member and invited countries is expected in the games.
