The Judo Grand Slam tournament held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, is coming to an end. On the final day of the competition, three more members of the Azerbaijani national team will test their strength for medals.
Idman.Biz reports that the winners in the heavyweight categories for both men and women will be determined today. In the men's competition, two of our athletes in the +100 kg weight category will start from the 1/8 finals stage. Jamal Gamzatkhanov will face the winner of the Saba Kardava (Georgia) - Losseni Kone (Germany) pair, and Kenan Nasibov will face the winner of the Yelaman Yergaliyev (Kazakhstan) - Gela Zaalishvili (Georgia) match.
In the women's competition, Madina Kaisinova, who competes in the +78 kg weight category, will start. She will face Italian representative Erika Simonetti in the 1/8 final stage.
