Results of the first day of the U-17 judo tournament "Talent Selection"

The first round of the U-17 judo tournament "Talent Selection" has started. Sport24.az reports that 314 athletes (270 boys, 44 girls) from 72 clubs and sports societies in a total of 14 weight categories participate in the competition held at the Sumgayit Olympic Sports Complex. 

On the first day of the competition, 152 judokas in 7 weights took to the tatami. Girls competed in the -40 kg, -48 kg, -57 kg; boys in the -50 kg, -60 kg, -73 kg and -90 kg weight categories.

It should be noted that the athletes who are in the first 4 places in each weight category in the final ranking of 2 rounds will be involved in the "Hopes of the Future" training program.
