Azerbaijani judoka Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) will not participate in the "Grand Slam" tournament held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
According to "Report", the Olympic champion will not attend the 1/16 final match with Arun Kumar (India).
It is not yet known why H. Heydarov will not compete.
Today, four Azerbaijani judokas will start competing in the mentioned competition. Kamran Suleymanov (73 kg) will face Japanese Shusuke Uchimura in the 1/32 final stage, Omar Rajabli (81 kg) will face Romanian Adrian Sulka in the 1/16 final, Fidan Alizade (63 kg) will face Uzbek Sevinch Isokova in the same round, and Sudaba Agayeva (70 kg) will face Russian Kamila Badurova.
It should be noted that the "Grand Slam" will end on March 1. Yesterday, Ahmad Yusifov won a gold medal, and Balabay Agayev (both 60 kg) won a silver medal.
