The Azerbaijani national judo team will compete in the European Cup among youth, which will be held in Berlin, the capital of Germany. Sport24 az reports that our team includes 17 athletes.
Among them are two-time world champion among juniors Nihad Mamishov (60 kg), winners of the European Youth Championship Nizami Imranov (66 kg) and Suleyman Shukurov (81 kg), as well as world champion among juniors Jasur Ibadli (81 kg).
Athletes from 37 countries will compete in Berlin.
It should be noted that this tournament, which will be held on June 21-22, will be the last test before the determination of the squad for the European and world championships among youth.
