Today, Azerbaijani judokas will join the fight at the "Grand Slam" tournament, which starts in Paris, the capital of France.

Balabay Agayev, who competes in the 60 kg weight category, will face the winner of the Kim Hwasu (South Korea) - Francisco Garrigos (Spain) match in the 1/16 final stage.
Nazir Talibov, who competes in the 66 kg category, will face the stronger of the Miguel Gago (Portugal) - Erbol Abasbekov (Kyrgyzstan) pair in the same round. Ruslan Pashayev will compete on the tatami with the athlete who wins the Yusuf Nurkovic (Montenegro) - Bence Pongratz (Hungary) duel.
It should be noted that the "Grand Slam" tournament will last until February 8. Azerbaijan is represented by a total of eight judokas in this prestigious competition.
