Six Azerbaijani judokas will test their strength on the final day of the Grand Slam tournament held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

In the men's competition, Murad Fatiyev will face Romanian Vlad Visan in the 1/16 finals in the 90 kg weight category.
Two of our athletes will compete in the 100 kg weight category. Ajdar Baghirov will face local athlete Ernazar Sarsenbayev in the 1/16 finals, while Zelim Kotsoiev will face the winner of the pair Tornike Poladishvili (Georgia) - Bakhtovar Bobokhonov (Tajikistan) in the 1/8 finals.
In the heavyweight category (+100 kg), Jamal Gamzatkhanov will test Indian Ritik Kumar in the 1/8 finals. Kenan Nasibov will face the winner of the Gela Zaalishvili (Georgia) - Islombek Ravshankulov (Uzbekistan) duel in the same stage.
In the women's competition, Madina Kaisinova represents our country in the +78 kg weight category. She will compete with Uzbek Umida Nigmatova in the 1/16 finals.
