The European Judo Cup among adults has started in Gori, Georgia.
İdman.biz reports that our national team won 3 medals on the first day of the competition.
In the 66 kg weight category, Nazir Talibov defeated all his rivals and climbed to the highest step of the podium. Babarahim Mirzayev (60 kg) lost only in the final and won a silver medal. Nariman Mirzayev (73 kg) finished the tournament in 3rd place.
It should be noted that 169 judokas from 15 countries are testing their strength in the tournament.
