The European Judo Cup among youth has ended in Graz, Austria.
Idman.biz reports that the Azerbaijani team won only one medal in the competition.
On the last day of the tournament, four Azerbaijani judokas took to the tatami: Farida Mirzayeva (48 kg), Khadija Gadashova (52 kg), Aytan Verdiyeva and Fidan Gasimova (both 57 kg). However, none of them managed to get into the prize-winners.
The only medal for our team was won by Nigar Suleymanova, who became a silver medalist in the +78 kg weight category on the first day of the competition.
