6 Russian athletes will participate in the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Cup, which will be held in Baku between March 5-8. Sport24.az reports that TASS has released information about this.
Daniel Marinov, bronze medalist of the world championship held in Jakarta, and participants of the 2025 World Cup, Muhammadjon Yakubov, Ilya Zaika, Anna Kalmykova and Leyla Vasilyeva will visit our capital.
The first stage of the World Cup will be held in Cottbus, Germany, on February 19-22.
It should be noted that in March 2022, the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) banned Russian and Belarusian athletes from participating in competitions. Later, the federation eased the restrictions and allowed athletes to participate in competitions in a neutral status.
