The minifootball world championship will be held in Baku from May 21 to June 1. Sport24.az reports that in this regard, the opening ceremony of the "Fan Zone" was held on May 15 in the Seaside Boulevard area.
The opening ceremony was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, President of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation Orkhan Mammadov and other officials, including representatives of the "Yashat" Foundation, children of martyrs, members of our national minifootball team, and guests of our city. Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov and President of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation Orkhan Mammadov met with members of our national minifootball team who participated here and wished them success in prestigious competitions.
Then, gifts were presented to the children of martyrs, and finally, a photo was taken. It should be noted that the Fan Zone will continue its activities until May 31. Various attractions and entertainment sections will be organized here, and participants will be given detailed information about the zone's activities. Various competitions will be organized for fans in the "Fan Zone", and the winners will be awarded tickets to various matches of the World Cup, including the games of our national team.
