Holding the World Championship in Baku is a major sporting event.
"Report" informs that this was stated by Elshad Guliyev, the head coach of the Azerbaijani national team, in his statement to journalists at the "Fan Zone" organized on the Seaside Boulevard in connection with the mini-football World Championship to be held in Baku.
The specialist stated that they are seriously preparing for the tournament:
"It is very gratifying that such a prestigious competition is being held in our country. The mood in our team is high. We are seriously preparing for the competition. We have made certain tactical and technical changes in the team. We believe that in the end everything will be in our favor. Our main goal is to get out of the group. Only after getting out of the group will we try to achieve the main goal."
It should be noted that the World Championship will be held from May 21 to June 1 at the National Gymnastics Arena. The Azerbaijani national team will compete in Group A of the World Cup, in which 32 teams will participate, with Slovenia, Mauritania and Bahrain.
