Idman.biz reports that this was stated by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov in a statement to journalists.
He spoke about the minifootball World Championship to be held in Baku. The minister said that our national team became famous after becoming European champion in 2022: "At the World Championship held last year, our team also performed successfully and took fourth place. Now the World Championship is being held in Baku. Performing in front of native fans is a great responsibility. I believe that our national team will perform successfully. Because the team is preparing diligently for the championship. Therefore, I thank the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation. The federation has an important and exceptional role in organizing the championship."
It should be noted that the mundial will be held from May 21 to June 1.
