Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has stated that he wished to coach Liverpool. Sport24.az reports that the Italian specialist spoke about this in an interview with Goal:
I wanted to coach Liverpool. But then I went to Everton and experienced their rivalry. Now I'm an Everton fan. I really liked the atmosphere there."
It should be noted that recently there were reports in the press that Carlo Ancelotti might leave the post of Real Madrid coach. The Italian specialist has been at the helm of the "Royal Club" since 2021. His contract with the Madrid club is valid until the summer of 2026.
