Welsh veteran shares memories of Ronaldo

Former Manchester United player Ryan Giggs recalled the days he played alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. Sport24.az reports that the Welsh veteran spoke about this on a show hosted by Rio Ferdinand.

 

"He was very good. Simply the best. Once, I took the ball from him with a sliding tackle in training, which angered Alex Ferguson. In response, even though I said "I just took the ball," our head coach said, "I know, but take care of him. He is a special player."

 

Giggs and Ronaldo played together at Manchester United from 2003-2009.
