Siyasat Asgarov, the head coach of the Azerbaijan women's national football team, spoke about the away match against the Montenegro national team within the group stage of the UEFA Nations League. Sport24.az reports that the specialist said in a statement on the AFFA website that they will go out on the field to win:
"Tomorrow we will play a very important game. The away victory we won over the Lithuanian national team three days ago gave our team self-confidence. This was also important in terms of preparing better for the upcoming match. Since time was short, we had to quickly forget the match with Lithuania and focus on the match with Montenegro. After tomorrow's match, it may be determined what position we will take in the group.
We came here with the desire to win. Both teams know each other well. I think the side that makes the minimum mistakes will achieve its desire. Let's take into account that in this "window" we will play our second game and both are away matches. Montenegro will be limited to one match. Although there is fatigue, we will do our best to return from here with the result we want".
It should be noted that the Montenegro-Azerbaijan match, which will be held on April 8 at the Nikšić city stadium, will start at 20:00 Baku time.
