Vardy apologized for creating a completely embarrassing situation

Leicester captain Jamie Vardy has shared his thoughts on the fact that they will leave the Premier League and drop to the Championship next season. Sport24.az reports that the English striker wrote in his social media account that leaving the elite is embarrassing for him:

"I don't even know what to say right now. I can't express in words the feelings of anger and sadness about the path we've taken this season. There are no excuses. As a team, players and club, we have failed. There is nothing to hide. This is a completely embarrassing thing for me personally."

The 38-year-old football player apologized to the fans: "We have had very high achievements and successes in this club for a long time. This season was nothing but misfortune. I apologize to the fans. Unfortunately, we could not stay in the Premier League. We apologize for finishing the season in such a bad situation."

It should be noted that it has already been determined that Leicester, who became the champion of England for the first time in its history in the 2015/2016 season, will finish this season in the last 3. The team is in 19th place with 18 points after 33 rounds.
