UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin has criticized the idea of holding domestic league games abroad.
Idman.Biz reports that earlier, media reports indicated that La Liga wanted to hold some of its domestic league games in the USA. Čeferin opposed this initiative.
Journalist Martin Ziegler quoted Čeferin's words on his social media page: "If you give up on football yourself, how will you create your identity, how will you preserve local football passion?".
