The President of the Russian Football Union (RFU), Alexander Dyukov, has stated that the Russian national team may play a friendly game with the Turkish national team. Sport24.az reports that the head of the RFU made a statement to TASS agency about this:
"I have said many times that we comment on the national team's games only when an agreement is reached and a contract is signed. A game with the Turkish team is theoretically possible, but everything depends on the calendar."
It should be noted that due to the situation in Ukraine, all Russian teams, including national teams, have been suspended from international tournaments by the decision of FIFA and UEFA since the end of February 2022.
