Former Fenerbahce head coach Ismail Kartal will work in Iran. According to Sport24.az, the Turkish expert has reached an agreement with Persepolis. This was reported by the Iranian press.
The 63-year-old coach will travel to Tehran in the coming days to sign a contract with his new club.
It should be noted that Ismail Kartal coached Fenerbahce last season. Under his leadership, the Istanbul representative finished the 2023/2024 season in the Super League in 2nd place with 99 points. After the end of the season, the experienced specialist parted ways with the club.
