Turan Tovuz strengthens its squad with a new goalkeeper.
Idman.Biz reports, citing futbolxeber.az, that the Tovuz club is adding Russian goalkeeper Yegor Baburin to its roster.
A formal contract with the 32-year-old player will be signed soon.
It should be noted that Baburin spent the previous season with Volga, a team in Russia's First League. He played 11 matches for the Ulyanovsk club.
The experienced goalkeeper has also played for Zenit, Rubin, Rostov, Krasnodar, and Torpedo (Moscow) throughout his career. Baburin has represented Russia's U-21 team in five matches.
