Our head coach has too many new demands.
This was stated by "Turan Tovuz" captain Shahriyar Aliyev in his statement to "Report", while evaluating the team's training camp in Antalya and the friendly match against Romanian club "Gloria" (0:2).
The 32-year-old defender said that they took the field with different lineups in each half:
"We played after heavy loads and training. The first match is always difficult. Although we took the field with different lineups in each half. We tried to fulfill the head coach's instructions. Fatigue was felt. Although the result is not important in a friendly match, you try to implement what they want. During the period we started training, we wanted to implement the tactics we worked on in the game. We lost, but we see and analyze our mistakes and prepare for the championship."
He spoke about the new players involved in the team:
"New players have joined our team, each with their own unique qualities. They have been quality players who have benefited the teams they played for. Now they are doing their best to benefit "Turan Tovuz" as well. Each of them is experienced. Our head coach has too many demands. It was the same at the beginning of the championship. We will try to show our claim and do our best to make our fans happy."
Sh. Aliyev also touched upon the friendly match against "Pakhtakor" (Uzbekistan) tomorrow:
"Championship games are such that we have general analysis. But in friendly games, coaches try not to tire the players too much. They analyze the opponent and explain their weaknesses and strengths to us. We will try to fulfill our coach's wishes in the match against "Pakhtakor"."
It should be noted that "Turan Tovuz", led by Kurban Berdyev, is in third place in the Misli Premier League standings with 32 points.
