They Returned

The first team to qualify for the Italian Serie A has been determined. Sport24.az reports that "Sassuolo", leading the Serie B with 75 points with 5 rounds remaining, has secured promotion to the top tier.

 

The team is 16 points ahead of "Spezia" in third place. The top two teams in Serie B are directly promoted to the elite division. "Pisa" is in second place with 66 points.

 

"Sassuolo" left the elite at the end of last season.
