The team that Azerbaijan's national team's opponent will face has been revealed

Iceland, Azerbaijan's opponent in Group D of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, will face Northern Ireland in a friendly match in June. Sport24.az reports that the Icelandic Football Federation's press service has released information about this.

 

The match will take place on June 10 in Belfast.

 

It was previously known that Iceland would face Scotland in Glasgow on June 6.

 

Azerbaijan - Iceland matches will take place on September 5 and November 13.
