The list of works to be carried out at the National Gymnastics Arena in connection with the Minifootball World Championship has been announced.

Orkhan Huseynov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijan Minifootball Federation, informed "Report" about this.

He said that work will begin at the National Gymnastics Arena, where the competition will be held, from the beginning of May:

"At the World Championship, teams will play with "Erima" balls made in Germany. These balls have been used before in the World and European Championships, as well as in the Champions League. Work will begin at the Mili Gymnastics Arena, where the competition will be held, at the beginning of May. Grounds will be laid, banners and screens will be installed. Probably, these works will take more than two weeks".

The Secretary General emphasized that a concert program will be organized before the match of the Azerbaijani national team:

"Teams participating in the World Championship will start arriving in Baku from May 19. The opening ceremony will take place before the match of the Azerbaijani national team. Also, a concert program will be organized. The team's schedule is known. Awards and medals are ready. The cup to be given to the winning team has also been presented. We also presented the uniforms that the national members will use".

It should be noted that the Azerbaijan national team will compete with Slovenia, Mauritania and Bahrain in Group A of the World Championship. The mundial, in which 32 teams will participate, will be held from May 21 to June 1.
