The amount of funds allocated for the development of football in Azerbaijan has been announced.
"Report" reports that this was stated in the AFFA report.
As in the 2023/2024 season, the allocated funds in the 2024/2025 season amounted to 39 million manat.
In both seasons, a total of 30 million manat was given to representatives of the Premier League (10 clubs). A total of 3 million manat was paid to the I League clubs (15 in the previous season, currently 10 clubs), and 3 million manat was paid for the maintenance of national teams.
The costs of the Region League and Region League games and the VAR project were equal to 1 million manat in both seasons. In the current season, a total of 700,000 manat was given to 14 clubs in the II League. 300,000 manat was spent on the education of the Manager and Coaching staff (under AFFA).
