"Sumgayit" has commented on the club being fined by the AFFA Disciplinary Committee due to the photographer of "Shamakhi".
Zaur Khudiyev, the head of the press service of the "city of youth" representative, told Report about this.
He stated that they will not protest the decision:
"We are familiar with the decision of the Disciplinary Committee. According to the relevant article of the Disciplinary Code, the home club is penalized for violating zone rules. Unfortunately, there is no specific clause there regarding the violation of zone rules by an employee of the home or guest team. Therefore, we, as the "Sumgayit" club, will not protest the imposed penalty."
It should be noted that in the match "Sumgayit" - "Shamakhi" of the XXX round of the Misli Premier League, the photographer of the visiting team violated the zone rule. For this reason, the AFFA Disciplinary Committee fined the representative of the "city of youth" 500 manats.
