"Liverpool" is preparing to send head coach Arne Slot into retirement. Sport24.az reports that the club management is no longer considering continuing with the head coach.
It was noted in the news that the Merseysiders' draw (3:3) with "Leeds" in the 15th round of the Premier League has finalized the management's decision.
Slot is expected to be replaced by club legend Steven Gerrard. It is reported that the currently unemployed 45-year-old specialist is positive about coaching his former team.
It should be noted that Gerrard played for "Liverpool" from 1998-2015 and scored 120 goals in 504 matches. "Liverpool" is currently in 8th place in the Premier League with 23 points.
