"Spring Tournament" held in Guba

The "Spring Tournament" among girls under 12 was held in Guba with the organization of AFFA and the support of UEFA.

Idman.biz reports that 6 teams competed in the tournament organized at the Guba Olympic Sports Complex.

The team of Hajihuseynli village secondary school became the winner of the tournament. The II and III places were taken by Vladimirovka village secondary school and Agbil village secondary school, respectively. Zahra Mustafayeva, a student of Vladimirovka village secondary school, became the most productive player of the tournament with 3 goals. Zuleykha Ganiyeva, a student of Hajihuseynli village secondary school, was the best player, and Zahra Rasikova, a student of Agbil village secondary school, was selected as the best goalkeeper of the tournament.

The first three winners were awarded with diplomas and medals, and the winning team was awarded with a cup. The awards were presented by Amina Hasanova, Head of the AFFA Women's Football Department, Habib Agayev, Head Coach of the U-19 (girls) national team, and Nargiz Gurbanova, Head Coach of the U-17 (girls) national team.

It should be noted that the main goal in organizing the project is to attract new female football players to the AFFA U-13 Girls League and national teams in the lower age group in the future. Participants were provided with sportswear and equipment by AFFA and UEFA.
