The South Korea national team lost to the South Africa team in the third round of the group stage of DÇ-2026. Sport24.az reports that the Asians finished the group in third place with 3 points.
The head coach of the national team, Hon Mon Bo, made a statement on the FIFA website after the defeat to the South African team:
"We wanted to win, we worked hard, but it didn't work out. We conceded a painful goal and then tried to equalize. I'm sad that we couldn't win. I'm responsible for the defeat".
