"Shirvan" football club, which performs in the Azerbaijan Second League, continues its work to form a squad for the new season.
Idman.Biz reports that the team has transferred Kamran Qurbatov to their squad. A one-year contract was signed with the footballer.
The 23-year-old midfielder previously played for "Shahdag Qusar".
Note that "Shirvan" finished the Second League last season in fourth place. The club then decided to merge with OIK, which participates in the AFFA Regional League, and will continue its activity as a single club.
The merger is said to contribute to the more powerful representation of football in the city of Shirvan, the concentration of existing potential in one place, the development of infrastructure, and the training of young footballers.
