A seminar on match-fixing was held for members of the MOIK club, which competes in the Azerbaijan I League.
According to "Report", UEFA's representative responsible for the integrity of matches, Seymur Salimli, gave lectures on the topics "What should we know as a football community about match-fixing or game manipulation?" and "Our goal is to protect you and our football," and made informative and reporting presentations.
Important issues on the fight against "Match-fixing" were discussed at the seminar, and experience was exchanged.
Local and international examples of match-fixing were presented to the seminar participants. Information was provided to the seminar participants about the Convention on the Manipulation of Sports Competitions, a number of additions and amendments to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Physical Culture and Sports, as well as additions and amendments to the Disciplinary Code of the Disciplinary Committee.
