The training camp held by the Azerbaijan national team of under-20 football players in Gabala is expected to have a positive impact on the future development of the team.
Idman.Biz reports that this was stated by AFFA Executive Vice President Sarkhan Hajiyev in a statement to journalists.
He noted that the next stage of preparation is planned to be held at the end of May - beginning of June, and this training camp, which will be organized in Gabala, will last two weeks. This time, no test matches were held by the decision of head coach Ruy Jorge, but the organization of such meetings is planned within the framework of the next training camp. No decision has been made yet regarding the final composition of the team.
It should be noted that the U-20 national team will continue its preparations in Gabala until April 26. The team will participate in the FIFA U-20 World Championship to be held in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan in 2027.
