It is very difficult to predict the teams that will reach the final of the Azerbaijan Cup.
This was stated by Samir Aliyev, the former head coach of the Azerbaijan national team and "Sabail", consisting of football players under 21, in an interview with "Report".
The expert said that the return matches of the semi-finals will cause great interest:
"Although the first ones are considered favorites in the duel between "Qarabag" and "Araz-Nakhchivan", we see that the Nakhchivan team won the first match. This means that it is difficult to make predictions now. An interesting and tense meeting awaits us. "Qarabag" will want to sign a golden double this season. I can say on my own behalf that I evaluate their chances equally. However, many experts and journalists see "Qarabag's" chances as high in this match."
S.Aliyev predicts that the "Sabah" - "Neftchi" match will be more tense:
"Both sides understand very well that the last chance to get to the European Cups is to become the winner of the national cup. For this reason, we will watch a very interesting match. The teams did not show a stable game this season. Let's see which team will win this "fight". I see the chances as equal in this pair as well."
It should be noted that in today's return matches of the semi-final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup, "Qarabag" will host "Araz-Nakhchivan", and "Sabah" will host "Neftchi". In the first matches, the Nakhchivan representative won 1:0, and the "owls" won 2:1.
