"Sabah" U-13 team finished 9th and U-15 finished 6th in Turkey

The international football tournament "Junior World Cup" held in Antalya, Turkey, with the participation of "Sabah" U-13 and U-15 teams, has come to an end. Sport24.az reports with reference to the club's press service that U-13 finished the group stage in 2nd place, defeating "Konyaspor" 3:1 and "Hatay Altın Gençlik" 11:0.   Yusif Agayev, Ali Huseynli and Ibrahim Sadiyev scored Sabah's goals in the game against Konyaspor. In the match against Hatay Altın Gençlik, Yusif Agayev (5), Jalal Mammadli (3), Huseyn Musayev, Chingiz Muslumov and Eltun Mammadov distinguished themselves.   The team coached by Nasir Nasirili defeated Turkey's Kadriyespor 9:0, Belarus' Energetik 3:0 and Turkey's Özerspor 1:0 in the matches for 9th place. Yusif Agayev (3), Jalal Mammadli, Elman Tahirov, Chingiz Muslumov, Amal Shikhkerimzade, Huseyn Musayev and Ali Huseynli scored our representative's goals in the game against Kadriyespor. Yusif Agayev, Huseyn Musayev and Aykhan Huseynov scored for Sabah in the match against Energetik. In the match with Özerspor, Yusif Agayev scored Sabah's only goal. Sabah finished the tournament in 9th place among 36 teams.   The U-15 team finished the group stage as the leader, defeating Konyaaltı 2:1 and Manisa 7:0.   Ravan Mammadov and Aykhan Ibadov scored Sabah's goals in the match against Konyaaltı. Firdovsi Sheydayev (2), Aykhan Ibadov (2), Khazar Huseynzade (2) and Ravan Mammadov distinguished themselves in the match against Manisa. The team coached by Shahin Zeynalov lost to England's Fulham 0:2 in the 1/4 final stage. Sabah won 6:0 against Kazakhstan's OINA in the fight for 5-8 places. Ruslan Abilov, Ravan Mammadov (2), Chingiz Mammadov (2) and Nizami Nabiyev scored our representative's goals. Sabah drew 1:1 with Turkey's Samsunspor in the match, and lost 6-7 in the post-match penalty shootout. Firdovsi Sheydayev scored Sabah's only goal in this match.   Our U-15 team finished the tournament in 6th place among 24 teams.
