Rooney's Statement About Ronaldo: "My wish is for him to be a world champion"

Former England national team striker Wayne Rooney has made a statement. Sport24.az reports that the expert said he wants his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to win the World Cup to be held in the summer:

 

"My wish is for Ronaldo to be a world champion. I want to watch and enjoy the World Cup. I believe it will be a successful tournament for the Portuguese national team and Ronaldo."

 

The Portuguese national team will compete with Uzbekistan, Colombia and Congo in Group K.

 

The World Cup hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico will start on June 11.
